Your way to us - TIK Allmandring 30A
By train
- Approaching from the city centre, take the commuter train line 1 from Stuttgart main station in the direction of Herrenberg or the commuter train lines 2 and 3 in the direction of the airport
- Approaching from the airport, take the commuter train line 2 in the direction of Schorndorf or line 3 in the direction of Backnang
Drive to the station "Universität".
- Leave the station building towards the residential areas Schranne and Endelbang
- Follow the course of the Universitätsstraße past the bus stops Universität and Schranne. The campus is on your right hand side.
- The Universitätsstraße merges into the Nobelstraße, follow it straight ahead
- Turn right into Allmandring, and after a few metres you will find the TIK on the left-hand side
By bus
The Campus Vaihingen is easily accessible with the following bus lines:
81, 82, 84, 91, 92, 746, 747, 748, N1.
The following stops are within a short walking distance of Allmandring 30a:
- Nobelstraße
- Lauchhau
By car
A8 from direction Karlsruhe/Munich:
- Follow the A8 until the Stuttgart junction
- Leave the A8 at the Stuttgart-Vaihingen connection point and take the A831, which then merges into the B14
- Stay on the B14 until the exit Universität
- Leave the B14 and turn left over the bridge towards the university.
- Follow Universitätsstraße until it becomes Nobelstraße
- After 600 m turn right into Allmandring
- The TIK is located on the left.

Leave the train at Stuttgart main station.
You reach the university building at Breitscheidstraße 2B after about 700 m by foot.
- Leave the station building in the direction of Friedrichstraße/B27
- Continue along Friedrichstraße/B27 in the direction of Stadtgarten
- Turn right into the Schellingstraße
- Pass through the city park in a northwesterly direction until you reach Breitscheidstraße 2B
By bus
The university building can be easily reached with the following bus lines:
40, 42, 43, X1
The following stops are within a short walking distance of Breitscheidstraße 2B:

By car
A8 from direction Karlsruhe/Munich:
- Follow the A8 until the Stuttgart junction
- Leave the A8 at the Stuttgart-Vaihingen connection point and take the A831, which then becomes the B14
- Follow the B14
- Turn slightly left into Hauptstätter Str. and follow the signs for direction B27/Ludwigsburg/Tübingen/Charlottenplatz
- Follow the signs and turn left onto the B27 towards Ludwigsburg
- Follow the B27 until the Schlossbergtunnel
- Following the signs, turn slightly left in the tunnel and leave the B27 towards S-West/Kultur + Kongresszentrum/Liederhalle
- Keep left and continue along Böresenstraße/Schloßstraße
- Turn right into Kienesstraße
- Follow the Kienesstraße until you reach the Breitscheidstraße
Parking spaces:
Parking is available at the Friedrichsbau car park, the Hofdienergarage car park or the Keplerstraße university car park. Please note that the latter is only available for public parking from Monday to Thursday from 6 pm, Friday from 4 pm.
