SAP® Applications Support

The TIK takes care of the technical operation and in parts the application support of SAP and supports the finance department in all technical questions concerning SAP.

Scope of functions

Technical operation:

  • (virtual) hardware
  • Server operating system
  • Database system
  • SAP® application software (ERP, BW)
  • Installing new releases, service packs and hotfixes
  • Data backup and, if necessary, the restoration of data
  • Technical precautions for IT security
  • Monitoring

Application support:

  • Assign authorizations and set up roles
  • Support and development of interfaces
  • Communication with the SAP service provider
