The most important information at a glance
The services of IZUS/TIK are provided based on the regulations listed below.
As the central IT service provider, IZUS/TIK offers a range of IT services (see service overview). Some of these services are targeted at individuals (e.g., employees, students) (see SIAM), some at organizational units of the university (e.g., institutes), and in some cases also for third parties (e.g., guests, project partners).
Heads of institutions may appoint IaC representatives, who may customize some IT services to suit the needs of the institution (see Cooperative IaC Provision Concept).
Some IT services provided by IZUS/TIK are only available to certain groups of users.
Use of IT services
Based on their affiliation with the university, employees and students automatically receive a centrally managed user account and an email address. The user account can be used to access various IT services at the university. Other persons may receive an account upon request.
Additional IT services provided by IZUS/TIK can be used upon request. Application forms can be found directly on the individual service pages or on our central application page.
Applications can be submitted by the head of the institution or by a designated IT representative from that institution.
Unless other agreements have been made, the standard
Service Level Agreement (SLA) of IZUS/TIK applies.
