Service Documentation

Here you can find documentation and handouts on how to set up eduroam on your device.

In the instruction area you will find all handouts, user manuals and documentation related to the service.

Please note, a distinction must be made between:

1.) eduroam CAT == https://cat.eduroam.org/
This is the website with the central configuration default of all locations. This is still called CAT and is still valid and up-to-date.
2.) eduroam CAT, the App for iOS/iPadOS/Android
This is the old app from various app stores and new Android do not get along with it. Therefore, ALL(!) operating systems should simply no longer use "eduroam CAT" as an app, but the new "geteduroam" app.

Instructions on setting up eduroam on your device

To safely set up eduroam on your device we recommend using the eduroam Configuration Assistant Tool (eduroam CAT) since a faulty manual installation can cause serious security problems.

Please note: You will need an internet connection to install eduroam, e.g. via LAN at work, at home, using mobile data or a mobile hotspot.
